This is a fantastic wartime issue BeVo embroidered Kriegsmarine Navy breast eagle uniform cut out from a field gray uniform, as used by forces stationed on the ground. These included Kstenartillerie (coastal artillery) units and others when in the ground "field dress" uniforms. This insignia was cut off with a piece of the uniform, measuring 4 3 8"W x 2"H, which shows a field gray wool outer shell and cotton muslin
